The 1930s building in Sloane Square had a wonderful exterior and interior too, the style well ahead of it's time, with plenty of light and space. A great spiral staircase was a showpiece through the front entrance.

The 19th Century rear of the building remained when I was there and it was like a rabbit warren with wooden staircases and small offices.

The Peter Jones building is now undergoing 'wholesale' refurbishment.
